The tournament dates (as well as exhibition and LOSSA games) have been updated on the calendar. Check out when the game times are. Make sure you let your teachers know when you will be out of school. It is YOUR REPSONSIBILITY to co-ordinate missed assignments and test with your teacher!
If you have an old 15s uniform that is too small or not being used anymore (because of an older sibling etc..) we will buy it back at 1/2 price. The point of this is to give it to students who can’t afford uniforms, and to reduce your costs after a major growth spurt. We are not buying socks. Regular price of clothing is
- 15s Jersey – new $50 or used $25
- shorts – new $30 or used $15
- socks – new $10 (we won’t sell used socks…)
If we owe you clothing from last year please see Mr. Pulickeel.
All new students (students who didn’t play 7s this year) must fill in a permission sheet if they want to attend dome training on March 19th. You can not practice if you did not fill in the sheet. You are welcome to pay for the team at a later date. See Mr. Pulickeel or Flynn if you have questions.
Welcome back to Boys 15s Rugby (Bantam,, Junior or Senior) Team. Our season runs from March to the June.
In order to play on the team students are required to have a completed student permission sheet. Please read and sign both sides of the form. Students will require plastic cleats (no toe cleats), mouth guard and a school rugby uniform.
The cost of joining the team is $90 + uniform ($10 socks, $30 shorts, $50 jersey). This covers the cost of
Athletic Fee (students must pay this once to the school to play any sport)
- Buses to and from tournaments
- Tournament entry fees
- Training at the Whitby Dome
- Equipment maintenance (balls, tackle suits, water bottles, etc…)
Required fees are nonrefundable. Please make cheques out to Henry Street High School (although cash is acceptable also). Subsidies or payment plans are available to students if necessary. Financial reasons should not prevent students from joining the team. Please contact Mr. Pulickeel if this is necessary.
Also included is a volunteer driver form. This form is only required of parents who are willing to assist in transporting rugby players to away games.
Tournaments, practices and other information will be updated on our website calendar. We encourage parents to stay apprised of this and to come out to our games. If you have any questions feel free to contact us by email or phone Mr. Pulickeel at (905) 668 – 2731 ext. 369. It is preferred that you contact us by email.

Unfortunately the rugby banquet has been cancelled. Nobody confirmed with us that they were coming as of this morning. Although roughly 20 of you told us you were coming by the end of the day, it was too late and we had already cancelled with Kelsey’s. In the future you must let us know ASAP!
The rugby banquet will be held Tuesday December 3rd at Kelsey’s (195 Consumers Dr) from 4:30-6:30 PM. You must confirm with Mr. Pulickeel that you are attending. The facility can only accommodate 45 people. The cost of the banquet will be $10. Meal details are to follow, but it will include an appetizer, main course, dessert and drink.
Photos from the Senior Provincial and the Henry Midget 7s Tournaments have been posted on the Media page (click here to see them). Thanks to Stephen Smith for taking the Gr. 9 photos!
The grade 9s dominated the Henry 7s Tournament going undefeated in their pool. They beat All Saints in the semis and ultimately lost to Uxbridge in the finals. Our boys were amazing! They were all committing to their tackles and killing it! Their rucking and support was incredible. Players of the game were Brandon Zinga who scored 11 tries in the tournament and Jeff Hinds who had an amazing game. See you all in 15s!
